Las categorías históricas de E.P. Thompson
Abstract (en)
La finalidad del presente artículo consiste en repasar la visión específica del materialismo histórico en la obra de E. P. Thompson. Para ello, se analizará su contribución teórica en torno a dos aspectos: la concepción de la clase como sujeto de la acción política, por un lado, y la formación de dicha clase como resultado de un proceso fundamentalmente histórico, por otro. En tal sentido, se considerarán tres “esfuerzos” por parte del autor: metodológicos (la ‘experiencia’), teóricos (la ‘economía moral de la multitud’ y la ‘lucha de clases’) y reflexivos (las nociones en tanto procesos y relaciones).
