En este número queremos dar a conocer a nuestros autores y lectores los procesos por los que ha venido atravesando la revista durante el último año: primero, la inserción a nuevas bases de datos como la Red Iberoamericana de Innovación y Conocimiento Científico (redib), así como la postulación a Redalyc y doaj, entre otras, con el propósito de mejorar los procesos de visibilización de los trabajos de investigación científica y académica en toda Latinoamérica; segundo, la inclusión de nuevos miembros en nuestros comités Científico y Editorial, en orden a consolidar un proceso que nos ha convertido en un referente para la investigación en humanidades. En este ejemplar se abordan como núcleo temático las relaciones entre conflicto, democracia y paz.
