Abstract (en)

This issue of the journal Cuadernos de Filosofía Latinoamericana comprises ten varied contributions, related to the specific focus of the journal, oriented to the development of Latin American philosophy, and the contributions of other central themes such as universal philosophy, literature and dialogues between philosophy and other sciences.

In the last five years, 60% of the articles published in the journal have corresponded to topics related to Latin American philosophy, but the journal has also had an open and plural approach, and has included other topics. Through the coherence with its thematic focus, sustained for forty-one years, and thanks to the opening of other central themes, the journal has strengthened its recognition and impact in Latin America. In the last five years, the citation index of the journal's articles, analyzed by Google Scholar (H5), has increased by 53.3%, and the journal is, currently, in quartile 2, among humanities journals in Colombia. This has allowed it to be indexed in Publindex, the index of the Colombian Ministry of Science and Technology, and to maintain its indexing in other important indexes.

El presente número de la revista Cuadernos de Filosofía Latinoamericana contiene diez contribuciones variadas, relacionadas con el enfoque específico de la revista, orientado al desarrollo de la filosofía latinoamericana, y los aportes de otros ejes temáticos como la filosofía universal, las letras y los diálogos entre la filosofía y otras ciencias.

En los últimos cinco años, el 60 % de los textos publicados en la revista han correspondido a temáticas relacionadas con la filosofía latinoamericana, pero la revista también ha tenido un enfoque abierto y plural, y ha incluido otras temáticas. A través de la coherencia con su enfoque temático, sostenido durante cuarenta y un años, y gracias a la apertura de otros ejes temáticos, la revista ha fortalecido su reconocimiento y su impacto en América Latina. En los últimos cinco años, el índice de citación de los artículos de la revista, analizado por Google Scholar (H5), ha tenido un incremento del 53.3 %, y la revista se encuentra, en este momento, en el cuartil 2, entre las revistas de humanidades en Colombia. Ello le ha permitido su indexación en Publindex, el índice del Ministerio de Ciencia y Tecnología de Colombia, y sostener la indexación en otros importantes índices.
