Editorial: some limits of Western philosophy and its alternatives from a Latin American perspective

Issue 133, volume 46, of the journal Cuadernos de Filosofía Latinoamericana brings together a collection of research papers that engage with some of the most relevant philosophical debates of today. The texts address, from various perspectives, the revision of some fundamental aspects of Latin American liberation philosophy, the critique of modern rationality structures, the ethical problems of technified contexts, and the limits of some universal philosophical concepts. The articles in this issue examine the limits of politics, morality, and knowledge. In this way, they propose new forms of philosophical understanding situated in the Latin American reality.

El número 133, volumen 46, de la revista Cuadernos de Filosofía Latinoamericana reúne un conjunto de investigaciones que dialogan con algunos de los debates filosóficos más relevantes en la actualidad. Los textos abordan, desde diversas perspectivas, la revisión de algunos aspectos fundacionales de la filosofía de la liberación latinoamericana, la crítica a las estructuras de la racionalidad moderna, los problemas éticos de los contextos tecnificados y los límites de algunos conceptos filosóficos universales. Los artículos que conforman este número examinan los límites de la política, la moral y el conocimiento. De ese modo, se proponen nuevas formas de comprensión filosófica situadas en la realidad latinoamericana.
