Artificial intelligence is present in everything we do, as humans we are called to understand that it is a fact and an inevitable reality, humanity has carried out a crusade to solve human problems through technology, leaving aside that, What we really need are human solutions. The question that transcends today is what does it mean to be human? There is so much at stake, careers, jobs, money, the power to decide what the future will be like, and it begs the question: who actually decides? Who will have the power to determine the future of humanity and what type of legal control will exist? Is it possible to talk about responsible AI that benefits global society as a whole? Can effective control be deployed to technological power?

La inteligencia artificial (IA) está presente en todo lo que hacemos, y como humanos estamos llamados a entender que este es un hecho y una realidad inevitable. La humanidad ha llevado a cabo una cruzada por resolver problemas humanos a partir de la tecnología, dejando de lado que, lo que en realidad necesitamos, son soluciones humanas. La pregunta que hoy trasciende es ¿Qué significa ser humano? Hay mucho en juego: carreras, empleos, dinero, el poder de decidir cómo será el futuro, y frente a esto surgen nuevas preguntas: ¿quién lo decide en realidad?, ¿quién tendrá el poder para determinar el futuro de la humanidad?, ¿qué tipo de control legal existirá?, ¿es posible hablar de una IA responsable que beneficie al conjunto de la sociedad global?, ¿puede desplegarse un control efectivo al poder tecnológico?
Abstract (pt)
A inteligência artificial (IA) está presente em tudo o que fazemos e, como seres humanos, somos chamados a entender que isso é um fato e uma realidade inevitável. A humanidade tem empreendido uma cruzada para resolver problemas humanos a partir da tecnologia, deixando de lado o que realmente precisamos: soluções humanas. A questão que se coloca hoje é: o que significa ser humano? Há muito em jogo: carreiras, empregos, dinheiro, o poder de decidir como será o futuro, e diante disso surgem novas perguntas: quem realmente decide? Quem terá o poder de determinar o futuro da humanidade? Que tipo de controle legal existirá? É possível falar de uma IA responsável que beneficie toda a sociedade global? É possível exercer um controle efetivo sobre o poder tecnológico?
