Abstract (en)

Considering, on the one hand, that humanity is going through a spiritually overwhelming situation, without detriment to its material hardship, and, on the other hand, that philosophy, by the wisdom that distinguishes it, has the special responsibility to help in the search for answers, this article advocates a philosophy that assumes the challenge of thinking from the contradictory times we live in, trying to open horizons of hope that encourage the improvement of the world and its people.

Considerando, por una parte, que la humanidad hoy pasa por una situación que, sin menoscabo de su penuria material, la agobia espiritualmente y, por otra, que la filosofía por la memoria de sabiduría que la distingue tiene una especial responsabilidad de ayudar en la búsqueda de respuestas a dicha situación de agobio espiritual, el presente artículo aboga por una filosofía que asuma el desafío de pensar desde el contradictorio tiempo que vivimos, intentando abrir horizontes de esperanza que animen al mejoramiento del mundo y de las personas.
