The journal Cuerpo, Cultura y Movimiento, published by Santo Tomás University, is pleased to present the special issue: “Post-Pandemic Reduction in Human Movement and Strategies to Mitigate Its Negative Effects.”

This issue serves as a space for multidisciplinary dialogue, bringing together research that addresses the challenges and transformations of the body in motion across various contexts. The articles collected here reflect the thematic and methodological richness of a constantly evolving field, offering innovative perspectives on health, education, technology, and inclusion.

La revista Cuerpo, Cultura y Movimiento de la Universidad Santo Tomás, se complace en presentarles el dossier: “Reducción del movimiento humano postpandemia y estrategias de para mitigar sus efectos negativos”.

El presente número es un espacio de diálogo multidisciplinar donde convergen investigaciones que abordan los desafíos y transformaciones del cuerpo en movimiento en diversos contextos. Los artículos reunidos reflejan la riqueza temática y metodológica de un campo en constante evolución, ofreciendo perspectivas innovadoras sobre salud, educación, tecnología e inclusión.

A revista Cuerpo, Cultura y Movimiento da Universidade Santo Tomás tem o prazer de apresentar o dossiê: “Redução da atividade física pós-pandemia e estratégias para mitigar seus efeitos negativos”.

Esta edição é um espaço de diálogo multidisciplinar onde convergem pesquisas que abordam os desafios e as transformações do corpo em movimento em diversos contextos. Os artigos reunidos refletem a riqueza temática e metodológica de um campo em constante evolução, oferecendo perspectivas inovadoras sobre saúde, educação, tecnologia e inclusão.

Fabian Alberto Romero Clavijo, Bishop's University

Postdoctoral fellow in the Sports Studies Department at Bishop’s University and the Institut national du sport du Québec, Canada. His research examines motor learning and performance in sport contexts, with particular interest in the relationship between perceptual-cognitive skills and sport performance, and in how practice-related factors influence the learning and performance of perceptual and motor skills.
