Design of a web application for the development of basic competencies in students with special educational needs
Abstract (en)
The project aims to design a web application to develop basic competencies in students with special educational needs (SEN) of third grade of elementary school, so that they achieve learning in a regular classroom, at their own pace and style, considering their specific needs. The validation of the resource was developed in a school in the District of Cartagena de Indias (Colombia). Teaching strategies were generated to carry out the intervention processes in the areas of mathematics, language and science, considering the inclusive approach, to then perform functional tests and evaluate their learning. Finally, it was obtained that 80% of the students achieved the basic competencies responding to the curricular guidelines and the basic learning rights (BLR) defined by the Ministry of National Education (MEN).
