Abstract (en)
Considering the imminent need of changing the way of perceiving knowledge andits relevance in the higher education, the knowledge management (KM) appears as
an interesting alternative that can carry on this hard task. After having analysing
firmly the real sense of knowledge, the understanding competence come out and
with it appears also a wide range of competences that make the impact of learning
that occurs in the academic scenario more attractive. Therefore, knowledge ceases
to be an added value or an option in the higher education. On the contrary, it has
become in a vital factor that promotes the research competence.
