El Salto tiene porvenir
The Falls has a future
Abstract (en)
A reason why the environmental problem exists is the lack of citizen culture. In Colombia, the indifference towards the current situation of the Bogota River is evident. However, if the citizens took small actions, they could make the difference and it would allow, not only to make a serious and significant recovery process of the Bogotá River, but also to accelerate the existing one. For many years, the GEP Foundation has been carrying out a program of citizen awareness in the region of Tequendama Waterfall, in order to recover this icon as a historical, cultural and environmental heritage.
