Youth Subjectivities and Forms of Institutionalization. Some Thoughts to Think About Mutations
Abstract (en)
Youth subjectivities challenge forms of institutionalization. Changing the look to focus on young people and not on the needs of the institutions cannot be delayed: to support the young and accompany them in their subjective transitions is something of prime necessity for institutions that are currently in evident decline. To achieve this objective, both the thesis of the decline of institutions and the perspective of the constitution of subjectivity provide theoretical clues to create alternatives to the forms of school that still resist the processes of subjectivation of young people and that are positioned from the established institutional spaces. Thus, to understand young people in school, less universal and more situational theoretical frameworks are required, as well as less structural and more fluid ones. Thanks to this, we can thus propose flexible and contextualized rules to deal with youth subjectivities, which are no longer structural, immobile, or perpetual.

Las subjetividades juveniles desafían las formas de institucionalización. Cambiar la mirada para enfocarse en los jóvenes y no en las necesidades de las instituciones no puede demorarse, pues bancar a los jóvenes, hacerles el aguante para estar entre ellos y acompañarlos en sus transiciones subjetivas es algo de primera necesidad para las instituciones que se encuentran actualmente en evidente declive. Para lograr este objetivo, tanto la tesis del declive de las instituciones como la perspectiva de la constitución de la subjetividad proporcionan claves teóricas para crear alternativas a las formas de escuela que todavía se resisten a los procesos de subjetivación de los jóvenes y que se posicionan desde los espacios institucionales establecidos. Así, para comprender a los jóvenes en la escuela se requiere de marcos teóricos menos universales y más situacionales, así como menos estructurales y más fluidos; gracias a esto, podrán plantearse nuevas reglas, más flexibles y contextualizadas, para tratar las subjetividades juveniles, que no sean ya de carácter estructural, inmóviles ni perpetuas.
