Gini index sampling estimation for localities in Bogotá D.C. using R functions
Abstract (en)
In this time it is important the data with respect to inequality measures in economics and social science. In this paper we use this information to calculate the Gini index. This index uses the information about the income in a population, specifically in Bogot´a D.C. for their 19 localities. We use the multipurpose survey for Bogotá D.C. in 2011 and use the modules for this analysis in each locality defining the variables that included information about incomes per household.

En este tiempo tienen gran importancia los datos que provienen de las medidas de desigualdad, en economía y las ciencias sociales. Vamos a utilizar esta información para calcular el índice de Gini. Este indice esta basado en los ingresos de una población, más especificamente en Bogotá para sus 19 localidades. Usaremos la encuesta multipropósito para Bogotá en 2011 y se utilizarán sus modulos para este análisis por cada localidad. Necesitaremos definir las variables que incluyen la información acerca de los ingresos por hogar.
