The Fundamental Theoretical Convergence Between the Economic Thought of the Monetarist Chicago School and of the Moderate Constructivist Sociologists (I of II).
Abstract (en)
This research aims to demonstrate the fundamental theoretical convergence between the contributions from the economists of the monetarist Chicago school and from the moderate constructivist sociologists. For this purpose, we group these contributions around three categories: teleology, epistemology and methodology. In view of the results, we conclude that, despite the different priority displayed by these authors to their interests, all of them coincide, on the one hand, in the epistemological sphere, in using hypothetic-deductive rules that incorporate considerations, both logical and factual; and, on the other, in the methodological camp, by the use of tools, both logical-deductive, and empirical-analytical.Abstract (es)
