Applications of the Edgeworth box: accounting analysis of the Spanish economy
Abstract (en)
Presentar visualmente el resultado alcanzado por la economía española a todos aquellos que participan en el desarrollo de un proyecto comun, forma parte de los objetivos perseguidos en esta investigación. La representación de los resutados de la economía española en una caja de Edgeworth requiere la transformación de las variables de las cuentas de transacciones del sistema nacional de cuentas para obtener un equilibrio contable. El ahorro nacional, las variaciones de capital, el ahorro monetario y las transacciones financieras netas forman una identidad contable susceptible de ser representada en una caja de Edgeworth. Cada identidad contable es una posicion de riesgo medida en sentido económico y financiero a través de los respectivos indicadores. Contrastando su evolución con la del empleo, se validan las conclusiones alcanzadas en la invetigación. El manuscrito analiza la actividad de los cuatro sectores institucionales y justifica que cualquier clase de entidad pueda ser evaluda a través de una misma metodología.
