Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have been transforming the field of psychotherapy in different ways. More notorious is their irruption in this era of COVID-19 where the most powerful tool we have to link with others are ICTs. Despite their widespread use and the fact that today they are the only way to carry out psychotherapy, there is still not enough information in Latin America on the impact of these tools on the therapeutic process and how they influence the results of the treatment. Therefore, the objective of this research was to investigate the patients' perspective on the integration of ICTs in their psychotherapeutic treatments. Method: 12 semi-structured interviews with patients who have used technological tools in psychotherapy were taken, recorded and analyzed with the CQR (Consensual Qualitative Research) method. Results: Eight domains were found to stand out in the interviews taken, which can be found in the results section. Discussion: The participants believe that it is a good alternative to psychotherapy if, for various reasons, a physical meeting with the therapist is not possible, and they consider that its incorporation in the treatments is positive, noting some changes linked to these. However, they prefer to continue to support the face-to-face way of carrying out a therapeutic process.
