Abstract (en)

This paper elaborates (I) a conceptual framework of the endogenous growth theory and then (II) it uses it to advance a reading of the evolution of structural competitiveness of the Colombian economy between the years 1978 and 1994, comprising: Perfomance of variables - Colombian foreign trade skills for productive social enterprises and the search for rent (imports of human capital and worldwide research capital). Finally, (III) conclusions are presented.

Abstract (es)

Este ensayo elabora (I) un marco conceptual de la teoría del crecimiento endógeno y, luego, (II) lo utiliza para adelantar una lectura de la evolución de la competitividad estructural de la economía colombiana entre los años de 1978 y 1994, que comprende: desempeño de las variables - comercio exterior colombiano de habilidades para la empresa social productiva y para la búsqueda de renta (importaciones de capital humano y de capital investigación del resto del mundo) y (III) conclusiones.
