1. We received for publication articles that embody the results of research projects, review articles, reflection articles and essays, as well as documents of the research activity in the field of economics and related areas.

2. Articles must be originals of the author, with a correct wording, clear, precise and impersonal, articles can't be in the evaluation process, either haven been published or accepted for their publication in other means, excepting conditions granted for the Editorial Committee.

3. Articles should be submitted in magnetic format or word processor with double spacing with margins to 3 cm in letter size, letter arial size 10 and maximum of twenty pages, including annexes.

4. The articles must present the following structure: Title of the document, Name (s) of the author (s), indicating in the footnote the institution to which the autor (s) belongs, bibliographic profile (s), contact e-mail and if the work received some type of funding or support from an institution. Summary in spanish and english, which will not exceed 150 words. This should be a synthesis of the concepts, approaches, proposals or ideas, highlighting its essential elements. Do not include tables or graphs in this section. Keywords in spanish and english and the respective classification codes in the Journal Economic Literature (JEL), with a maximum of 4 words and codes. The article should be constituted by an introduction, body of work (theorical framework, methods, work development), results, conclusions and references.

5. The tables included in articles should be prepared in Microsoft Word format and figures in Excel. For all of the above, including equations, use Times New Roman font, size 10, without bold. Colors are used only in grayscale.

6. References should only understand the literature cited in the text, following the methodology of the APA (American Psychological Association).

7.  The notes in the footnotes should be clarifying nature.

8. Every article postulated to CIFE Journal will be sent to anonymous referees and comments from this assessment will be communicated only to (the) author (s). the confidentiality of the evaluations will be maintained.

9. Within three months after receipt of the items, each author will be notified if your article was accepted or rejected for publication. If the document is accepted, we will proceed to the transfer of copyright to the CIFE Journal.

10. The articles submitted to the CIFE Journal should be sent magnetic to [email protected] email or [email protected] means, including the minimum data for communication with authors (fixed and mobile). Confirmation of the application will be received by the charge of the document.

11. The referral of the document by the author, understood that he accepts the conditions of publication of the CIFE Journal. 

12. Articles published in the Journal CIFE are the sole responsibility of the authors and in no way commit the University of St. Thomas or the Editorial Committee. Articles may be reproduced by any means with the obligation to cite the source.

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The submission has not been previously published is not under consideration by any other journal (or has provided an explanation in the comments to the editor ).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.
  • Whenever possible, URLs are provided for references.
  • The text is single spaced a 10-point font size, italic is used instead of underlining (except in URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures and tables are placed in places the appropriate text, instead of at the end.
  • The text brings together the stylistic and bibliographic conditions included in guidelines for the author, in About the Journal.
  • In the case of sending the text to the peer review section, the instructions in Ensuring an anonymous evaluation followed.

The names and email addresses entered in this journal will be used exclusively for the purposes stated in it and will not be provided to third parties or use for other purposes.
