The July/16 to December/16 Edition of the journal Via Inveniendi et Iudicandi has sought to contextualize different topics in the proper context of Colombian reality.

In this vein, we present to the Academic Community issues that address aspects of juncture, such as the protection and restitution of forcibly abandoned land, the Right to Education of children of rural school, terrorism and international crime, military justice, the reality of open State from the thinking of Karl Popper, the State and Law in postmodernity and the consistency principle in criminal procedure.

All that remains is to thank the authors of this Edition, the peer reviewers, the members of the committees and the Faculty directors who have understood the importance of this academic window.
